The St. Francis Boutique Charm Collection

A San Francisco Tradition, Reimagined

For many years, our charm boutique occupied a special corner of the magnificent lobby of San Francisco’s historic St. Francis Hotel on Union Square.

It was a remarkable setting. The St. Francis welcomed generations of distinguished guests from around the world—from celebrated actors and artists to royalty, dignitaries, and international travelers. Among the many memorable visitors to our boutique was legendary actor Anthony Quinn, whose purchase remains part of our own history.

Over the years, we developed an extraordinary collection of nearly 4,000 different charms , created in sterling silver, 14-karat gold, and 18-karat gold.

But these were not ordinary charms.

While many traditional charms were made thin, flat, and lightweight, ours were selected and created to have substance and character—solid, beautifully detailed, three-dimensional miniature works of art . Each represented something personal: a profession, a passion, a destination, an accomplishment, a memory, or simply something loved.

The St. Francis boutique closed in 2008, but the collection—and the memories surrounding it—remained part of the Shapur Mozaffarian story.

Today, we are bringing that tradition back.

The St. Francis Boutique Charm Collection revives a distinctive chapter of our San Francisco heritage, offering special charms for a new generation to collect, wear, give, and someday pass on.
